On June 12, Tam Thang Grassroots Social Insurance (HCMC Social Insurance) coordinated with Rach Dua Ward People's Committee to organize a Conference to propagate voluntary social insurance policies, household health insurance (HI); guiding the installation and use of the VSSID application for people in the area.
In the conference, the reporter of Tam Thang Grassroots Social Insurance shared information such as: Benefits when participating in voluntary social insurance, with the opportunity to receive a monthly pension when eligible, to be issued a health insurance card during the pension period and have a stable income after retirement... In addition, the reporter also shared about the meaning and benefits of participating in household health insurance in health care, sharing medical examination and treatment costs, reducing financial burdens when unfortunately there are health incidents...
In particular, the reporter clearly stated the practical utilities of the VSSID application in searching for insurance information, using electronic health insurance cards, and tracking the process of participating and enjoying insurance benefits conveniently and quickly.
Ms. Tran Thi Xuan - Vice Chairwoman of Rach Dua Ward People's Committee - said that in the past time, local authorities have coordinated with social insurance agencies to deploy propaganda and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance, and achieved many positive results. However, besides that, there is still a part of the population who does not have the conditions to fully understand the rights, meaning as well as the practical benefits of these policies.
Through the conference, it is not only a way to propagate and disseminate policies on social insurance and health insurance, but also an opportunity for social insurance agencies to directly advise and answer questions that people still have; helping people have more information to participate in policies suitable to their own conditions.
In addition, along with many procedures and public services that have been deployed in the digital environment, the dissemination and guidance on installing and using the VSSID application helps people save time, limit travel but still proactively manage personal insurance information.
Therefore, Rach Dua Ward People's Committee also requested departments, branches, unions, and neighborhoods to continue to promote propaganda and mobilization so that more and more people participate in social insurance and health insurance; improve the coverage rate of insurance, ensure social security and better care for people's lives in the area.
