At Nguyen Van Cu Park (Vo Cuong ward, Bac Ninh city), the Trade Union of 5 wards: Vo Cuong, Hap Linh, Kinh Bac, Nam Son, Vu Ninh organized the Bac Ninh Trade Union Day with the theme "Healthy to work - Strong to reach far" among union members and workers in 2026.
The festival is organized to practically respond to the movement "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho", celebrating important milestones of Bac Ninh city, and at the same time promoting the movement of physical education and sports among officials, union members, and workers; building a positive and healthy lifestyle, contributing to creating a safe, dynamic and sustainable working environment in agencies, units, and businesses.
Attending the Festival were Mr. Tran Huy Phuong - Deputy Secretary of Bac Ninh City Party Committee; Mr. Thach Van Chung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the City Labor Federation and more than 1,600 union members and workers participating in the program.
Speaking at the opening of the Festival, representatives of the Organizing Committee emphasized that health is a precious asset of each person, a foundation for officials, union members and workers to successfully complete their tasks, improve labor productivity, build happy families and contribute to the development of agencies, units, and businesses.
Therefore, taking care of the material, spiritual and health life of union members and workers is always one of the important tasks of the Trade Union organization.
With the message "Healthy to work - Strong to reach far", the Festival is not only an activity of physical education and sports but also an opportunity for officials, union members, and workers to exchange, learn, strengthen solidarity, and spread the spirit of living healthy and actively.
The response running activity is organized with a movement spirit, not placing emphasis on achievements; the most meaningful thing is the participation, solidarity and healthy running steps of each union member and worker.
At the program, athletes participated in a response run with a distance of about 2.5 km, together creating healthy, united and energetic runs of union members and workers of Bac Ninh city.
In addition to sports activities, expressing the spirit of "The Trade Union always accompanies - cares - shares with workers", the Organizing Committee presented 217 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to encouraging morale, helping workers feel secure in their work, attached to businesses and the Trade Union organization.
