In Cam Nhuong commune, there are currently 274 fishing vessels with more than 800 workers fishing at sea, in addition, there are many workers providing fishing logistics services. Previously, ship owners were mainly admitted to the union, but now, workers who are crew members and logistics workers in the fishing industry are all subjects to mobilize and admit to the union. Therefore, it must be affirmed that there is still a lot of room for union members to develop" - Mr. Thanh said. According to Mr. Thanh, in the coming time, the union will continue to mobilize to admit more union members into the union.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Chairman of the Thach Kim Commune Fisheries Union (Thach Ha District) - said that the Thach Kim Commune Fisheries Union currently has 214 members.
"We will continue to mobilize to admit more crew members, seafood processing and trading workers to the union. There is still a lot of room to develop union members" - Mr. Nam shared.

The Chairman of the Thach Kim Commune Fisheries Union shared that, when joining the Fisheries Union, union members who fish at sea helped each other, shared with each other the fishing area with many seafood, and when in trouble, they also contacted and informed each other to be rescued in time. For union members in difficulty and sick, the Fisheries Union has allocated funds to visit and encourage them. The union also reported to the district Labor Federation so that the district Labor Federation can pay attention, visit, and give gifts to union members in difficulty and hardship.
"The District Trade Union is also very concerned about the lives of union members in the Fisheries Union. Every year, they give many gifts to union members in difficult circumstances, especially during the coming of Tet and spring. For those who are sick or in distress, they also pay attention to visiting and supporting to encourage union members to overcome difficulties and rise up" - Mr. Nam shared.
Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh - Chairman of the Cam Nhuong Commune Fisheries Union - said that when joining the fisheries union, when fishing at sea, the union members help each other, inform each other about the fishing area that is favorable and has many shrimp and fish. In times of trouble, they also quickly approached and helped each other to save people and property. Thanks to that, union members can confidently stick to the sea and fish effectively to improve their lives.
In difficult and disadvantaged circumstances, the union also cares about giving gifts of encouragement, and at the same time reports to the District Labor Federation to be visited, given gifts, and supported by the District Labor Federation.
