On March 23, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation organized a conference to evaluate the results of coordination in 2025 and deploy the program for 2026. The conference was co-chaired by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De and Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Kha Van Tam.
Close and effective coordination
According to the report at the conference, the coordination between the two sides is increasingly deepening, achieving many results in all fields. Policies related to workers are implemented synchronously; the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions exceeds targets; inspection, examination, and supervision of labor laws are strengthened.

In 2025, trade union levels spent more than 212 billion VND to support 64,726 union members and workers through social security programs. The "Trade Union Home" program supported the construction of 27 houses, with a total budget of 1.35 billion VND. Workers' Month recorded more than 1,000 gifts and many free health check-ups for workers in difficult circumstances.
Legal supervision work was drastically implemented with more than 120 units being inspected, recovering over 27 billion VND of social insurance and health insurance debts. The rate of collective labor agreements reached 85.4%, of which state-owned enterprises reached 100%.

The two sides also coordinate to organize job fairs, contributing to solving human resource needs for businesses. In 2025 and the first 2 months of 2026, the whole province established 30 new grassroots trade unions, and developed an additional 18,602 union members.
Continue to accompany businesses and workers
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Kha Van Tam said that although there are still some difficulties due to the arrangement of the organizational structure, the coordination program is still maintained effectively. However, there are still shortcomings that need to be overcome in the coming time.

Orienting 2026, the two sides will continue to promote legal propaganda; strengthen supervision of the implementation of labor policies in the direction of supporting businesses but still ensuring compliance with regulations. At the same time, pay attention to comprehensive care for life, especially the health of workers.
Concluding the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De emphasized that the coordination between the government and the Trade Union organization has contributed to building harmonious labor relations and promoting socio-economic development.

In the coming time, the two sides need to continue to effectively implement the 2024 Trade Union Law; strengthen inspection and supervision at enterprises; improve the quality of dialogue to limit labor disputes. At the same time, pay attention to solving practical issues such as jobs, income, and housing for workers.
The development of union members and the establishment of grassroots trade unions at enterprises and industrial parks are also identified as key tasks, contributing to consolidating the Trade Union organization and better protecting the rights of workers.
