Ms. Mai Thi Huong - a trade union official at the company - shared that the policy of increasing the monthly salary for social insurance contributions was introduced by the company's leadership after listening to and receiving opinions from union members and workers.

The female official said that with the new contribution level, many long-time workers have been paid social insurance by the company based on a salary of 8.5 million VND, equivalent to the actual salary they receive.
“Besides the current welfare policies, we want to create long-term trust for employees when working. The increase in social insurance contributions is an example for employees to feel secure about the future and stick with the company for a long time” - Ms. Huong said.
When they learned about the policy of increasing social insurance contributions from the beginning of 2026, many workers at the company could not hide their joy.
Ms. Vu Thi Minh Nguyet - a garment worker at Song Hong 4 branch (Xuan Truong commune, Ninh Binh) - said that increasing social insurance contributions is both in line with the regulations on increasing the regional minimum wage and is a new policy to attract and retain workers. The female worker feels very happy and more secure about the insurance benefits to be enjoyed in the future.
With the same insurance contribution level as before, if I have a child, I will only receive nearly 26 million VND in maternity benefits. However, with the new insurance level, when I have a child, I will receive nearly 33 million VND, 7 million VND higher," Ms. Nguyet said.

The workplace of female workers belongs to region III, but the new social insurance contribution level is currently higher than region I. Therefore, female workers feel secure when taking sick leave or taking care of sick children, the amount of social insurance benefits per day is expected to be 1.5 times higher than before.
Mr. Cao Van Muu - a mechanical worker at Song Hong 4 Branch - said that although he had just started working not long ago, his salary as a basis for social insurance contributions had been adjusted to increase by more than 30% compared to before.
This level is also about 28.5% higher than the current regional III minimum wage. According to Mr. Muu, this is an income level that in many other places, workers must stick with and contribute for many years to achieve.
For male workers, when social insurance contributions increase, future benefits for workers are also more guaranteed.
Increasing social insurance contributions will also increase maternity benefits, unemployment benefits, sick leave, Tet holidays, especially retirement benefits. These are very practical benefits for workers" - Mr. Muu said.
Sharing more, Mr. Muu said that although the income each month deducted to pay more social insurance has decreased, it is not much. The male worker said that each month he only has to deduct more than 100,000 VND but increases benefits in all aspects, so he is very excited and willing to participate at a higher level.
