The hot weather at the beginning of the season has just begun but has turned many areas in Hanoi into a "fire pan".
Amidst the temperature of more than 40 degrees Celsius outdoors, workers making a living on the streets are struggling to work while trying to cope with the extreme heat.
Mr. Tran Van Minh (Dong Anh, Hanoi) - a technology motorbike taxi driver - shared that from morning to afternoon he has almost no real time to rest.
"In the midst of the sun, I took a stretcher in the corner of the park to rest my strength. The house is far away, it takes an hour to return, and if I stay too long, I will lose my application. That is the only way to take a break, said Mr. Tran Van Minh.

As for Mr. Vu Tuan Kien - a construction worker in Cau Giay, the hot weather makes manual labor reach out faster than ever.
"The project is under construction with only a few temporary houses with corrugated iron roofs, hot as if burning. After a while, I sweat like a bath, I only have to drink water continuously to stay strong, Mr. Kien shared.
The situation did not improve with Ms. Pham Thi Lanh (from Nam Dinh) - a street vendor around My Dinh bus station (Hanoi).
"I don't dare to rest at noon, because I don't have money to rest. I had to wear two layers of hats, a tight sunscreen, and cover my face with a wet towel to reduce heat, but I still felt dizzy, Ms. Lanh lamented.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tu (technology shipper, Long Bien district) also found a way to deal with it: "Going out all day, the phone is hot, and people are tired. I brought a few bottles of water, after delivering the application, I took a short walk in the forest and sat in the shade, then ran again. But with many orders, I can't wait to retire."

The harsh heat not only makes work more difficult but also threatens their health - something that for them, sometimes they have to trade for a loan to keep up with their livelihood.
