On August 10, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HFF) coordinated with the Hematology Blood Transfusion Hospital to organize a voluntary blood donation program "sharing pink blood drops".
This meaningful activity took place at the Binh Duong Labor Culture Center, An Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Hundreds of workers at factories and industrial parks in Binh Duong have previously enthusiastically participated.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Tin - Director of the Social Work Center of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation said that this is a meaningful activity in a series of events towards the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union. Through this activity, workers share drops of blood in kindness, providing more blood for hospitals to treat patients.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, about 400 workers registered to participate in the "red blood sharing" activity. The Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. alone participated with 60 union members and workers.
Ms. Pham Thi Tuyet Nhung - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared: "Many union members participated with the desire to share blood drops to treat patients. Today, the grassroots union mobilized 60 union members to participate in this meaningful program".

Coming to donate blood, Ms. Le Kim Hong - 48 years old, a worker at Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd. shared: "I learned about this meaningful program through the dissemination of grassroots unions. This is the first time I have participated in blood donation. Hopefully, my blood will help patients in need of blood to be treated promptly".

The grassroots trade union of Hai My Company Limited is also one of the units with a large number of workers donating blood. "Previously, I took care of many relatives in hospital and gave them blood, thanks to which I survived. Now I heard the grassroots union launch it, so I immediately registered to participate. Hopefully, my blood will be shared and help those in need of blood" - Mr. Nguyen Van Bao (born in 1987, a worker at Hai My Company Limited shared.
