On the morning of August 6, at the Binh Duong Ward Cultural Center, Ho Chi Minh City, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Binh Duong Ward coordinated with the Hematology Institute of Cho Ray Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) to organize a voluntary blood donation program.
The blood donation program to save people attracted many union members, youth union members, workers, laborers and union officials to participate.
Sharing with reporters, many workers said that donating blood to save people is a meaningful activity, however, currently, hospitals are lacking blood to save people, so they have registered to participate. The workers hope that this action will help many patients receive blood transfusions to save their lives.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong Ward - directly participated in blood donation and encouraged many relatives and friends to participate.
According to Mr. Nguyen Minh Tam, the program has about 350 participants, including more than 100 workers from grassroots unions in enterprises in the area participating in blood donation. As a result, 300 units of blood were donated.
