Working at Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park - Ms. Nguyen Thi Den said that thanks to the company maintaining orders and stable salaries, workers are excited to work overtime, improve income as well as contribute to welcoming the Party Congress.
To keep up with orders, some days I work overtime and go home late, exhausted, but thinking about increased income, I also feel happy. If I work overtime regularly, my salary is also around 9-10 million VND," the female worker shared.
Having been attached to the company for many years, as well as effective work productivity, Ms. Den expects Tet bonuses to be positive. "Last year I received a Tet bonus of tens of millions, I hope this year will be okay. With bonuses, this Tet shopping for clothes and giving lucky money to children and grandchildren will also be healthier," Ms. Den said.
Similarly, thanks to stable work and regular salary, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thuy - a worker at a seafood processing company in Can Tho City is also reassured to work. However, this female worker proactively saved money early to balance expenses for Tet.
At the end of the year, everything from meat and fish to vegetables increases, I also consider buying anything at the market. I save not because of lack but because I want to proactively plan Tet shopping costs for my family to be a little more comfortable," Ms. Thuy said.
Also according to the sharing from this female worker, every year she and many other workers receive support gifts from trade union levels. From there, many workers save a portion of Tet shopping costs. “Every holiday or Tet, I have gifts from trade union levels to support. From fish sauce, cooking oil, instant noodles... to cash support, we are all received. I am not in a hurry to go shopping for Tet early because I am afraid of high prices, waiting to go to the Trade Union Tet Market to buy preferential prices," Ms. Thuy said.
In order to practically take care of the lives of union members, workers, and laborers, the Can Tho City Labor Federation has issued a Plan to organize the Trade Union Tet Market - Spring 2026 program on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
According to the plan, the main activities will include: Tet Market booth area (from 40 - 50 booths/site) displaying high-quality Vietnamese goods, price-stabilized goods; Tet Sum vay - Spring of Gratitude Program; 0 VND booth, giving bus tickets, supporting train tickets for workers returning home for Tet...
It is expected that the program will be held at 3 locations. In which, phase 1 will be held at An Nghiep Industrial Park, from January 29 - 31, 2026 (December 11-13 of the lunar calendar). Phase 2 will take place at Tan Phu Thanh Industrial Park, from February 2 - 4, 2026 (December 15 - 17 of the lunar calendar). The final phase will be held at Song Hau Industrial Park, from February 5 - 7, 2026 (December 18 - 20 of the lunar calendar).
