Recently, in Phuc Yen ward, Phu Tho province, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hung Vuong - Tien Chau social housing project took place. This is one of the major projects contributing to realizing the dream of settling down for workers and the goal of developing social housing in Phu Tho province, in accordance with the direction of the Government.

The project is invested by Thang Long Construction Joint Stock Company, with a scale of 1,152 apartments, including 9 9-storey buildings, expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
When completed, it is expected to serve the housing needs of over 4,000 low-income workers, industrial park workers and policy beneficiaries in the area.

The joy was evident on the faces of many workers when they witnessed and heard the news of the groundbreaking ceremony. Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, a worker at Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park (Phuc Yen Ward) shared:
"I have been working away from home for 7 years, renting a room to live in for that year. Hearing the news that the province was building social housing, I was very happy. I just hope the conditions for buying are not too strict so that people who really need it like me have the opportunity to own it.
Similarly, Mr. Vu Quoc Doan, a taxi driver in Phuc Yen ward, expressed hope: "The price of a commercial house is now too high, my wife and I have been saving for several years and have not dared to think about buying. If we have access to social housing, my husband and I will be motivated to stay with the locality for a long time and raise our children to study well."
For many workers from other provinces working in Phu Tho, social housing is not only a place to live, but also a foundation for settling down - starting a business. Ms. Duong Thuy Linh, from Tan Lac commune, currently working in Phuc Yen ward, said:
"When I first moved here to work, I rented a house for living. But if I had a social housing unit, I would bring my whole family here to live. As soon as we are close to work, there will be support policies from the province, that is what we workers look forward to the most".

Although social housing is not flashy, it is a solid support for many families of workers and low-income laborers - those who "eat meals at night - at boarding houses".
With a total investment of VND 1,227 billion, the Hung Vuong - Tien Chau social housing project not only solves the housing needs of thousands of workers, but also contributes to creating motivation to attract investment, stabilize the workforce and promote sustainable socio-economic development.
It is known that the Hung Vuong - Tien Chau Social Housing Project is the 5th social housing project to start construction in 2025, aiming to strive to implement the social housing development targets in Phu Tho province assigned by the Prime Minister.
