Ready to take on new, difficult tasks
Having worked at the company for 24 years, Ms. Do Thi Thuy said that she always learns, researches and finds simple sewing methods to make the production process as convenient as possible.
Recalling 2021 and 2022 when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, the labor situation in the group fluctuated a lot. She arranged and organized work to complete assigned tasks, proactively promoted in all forms so that employees could implement 5K well in disease prevention, clean and beautiful working environment, and ensure safety.
The group's productivity in 2021 increased by 10% compared to 2020 and was rewarded by the department leader. Ms. Thuy and her team members applied to take on export orders. Although this was a new product with a fast delivery time, with solidarity, research, and careful product research, her team of workers completed the export orders on time, saving the company tens of millions of dong.
With the view that "if I improve, my colleagues improve, the whole team will become better and better", Ms. Thuy does not hesitate to share her experiences so that other colleagues can improve as well. With her working experience, the Department's leaders trust her with the task of training new workers. On average, Ms. Thuy trains about 10 new workers each year to meet the work steps in the production line.
As a direct worker in the production team, Ms. Thuy is always proactive in finding quick ways to work and contributing ideas to get products out the fastest and with the best quality.
Honor to stand in the ranks of the Party
Ms. Thuy will be one of 95 outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor at a program held on February 16 in Hanoi.
Ms. Thuy said that for the past 24 years, she has been very honored to continue the family tradition of being in the Party, because her paternal grandfather, maternal grandfather and father were all Party members. Not only that, in Ms. Thuy's heart, the two words "Party member" are also a source of pride for her children to follow every time they mention their mother.
This year, being recognized for the first time, the female worker said that this is not only a joy, but also a challenge for her to try harder, contribute more and become more mature.
Sharing with Lao Dong, Ms. Thuy said that in the coming time, she needs to continue to make more efforts, be more creative and be more exemplary in her work, to be worthy of the trust of her colleagues and the organization."And above all, she must always maintain the qualities of a party member, accompany and contribute to the sustainable development of the organization and the community" - Ms. Thuy expressed.
Aware of the work as well as the role of a party member, Ms. Thuy has never forgotten the rights of workers in the textile industry.
Ms. Thuy hopes that the State and relevant departments will have more social welfare policies for workers; and pay more attention and support to businesses with a majority of female workers such as the textile industry.
By creating conditions for employees to enjoy increasingly better social insurance and health insurance regimes, the company improves the quality of periodic health check-up programs, supports the treatment of occupational diseases, and provides specialized examinations for common diseases in women.
Organize more training courses to improve professional capacity as well as necessary soft skills for workers. This is also a factor to help improve the competitiveness of Vietnam's textile and garment industry.
