This is a State-level preliminary review session to prepare for the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
By 5pm, the roads leading to the central area, especially Le Duan Street - where the preliminary inspection activities take place, were packed with people.
The excitement spread throughout the area as people brought the national flag, red shirts with yellow stars, bright lightsticks and brilliant cheering items.
Many families brought their children and took the opportunity to find a good spot to enjoy the parade.





The preliminary parade and parade officially began at 7pm, taking place on Le Duan Street and some neighboring roads.
Outside Le Duan Street, many people gathered at Bach Dang Wharf Park to watch the live-fire drill. According to the plan, the live-fire will take place at 7pm tonight.




In order to ensure safety and facilitate the smooth operation of the preliminary review, from 5:30 p.m. on April 25 to 1:00 a.m. on April 26, many central streets of Ho Chi Minh City banned vehicles from circulating and stopped parking.
Previously, the participating forces had two training sessions on the nights of April 18 and 22.
After this preliminary review, the forces will continue to conduct a State-level general review on the morning of April 27.

This afternoon (September 25), a Chinese Y-20 super transport aircraft landed at Tan Son Nhat airport, carrying 118 officers and soldiers of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
The Chinese military will visit Ho Chi Minh City to attend the April 30 parade at the invitation of the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense to demonstrate the friendship between countries.

Previously, the Lao and Cambodian army sent many officers and soldiers to, after a period of training in Binh Duong, to train with the Vietnamese armed forces in District 1.
The 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification will have more than 13,000 people participating in parades and parades.
In which, the parade consists of 36 groups led by the Army and Police forces; the parade consists of 12 groups representing all classes of people in Ho Chi Minh City.
The parade also had the participation of military groups from China, Laos and Cambodia.
