Passionate about making handmade leather, after graduating from the Industrial Design major (University of Industrial Fine Arts) in 2023, Mr. Bui Hung Anh (Hai Phong) studied this profession. Mr. Hung Anh visited and studied at many workshops and then decided to study a trade at a brand in Thanh Xuan ward (Hanoi).
Thanks to his passion and hard work in exploring and learning, half a year after graduating, Mr. Hung Anh became a hard worker, successfully completing many difficult stages and high-end products. With many different skin materials, he is also skinny and smooth.
In mid-2024, Mr. Hung Anh decided to open his own brand, selling high-end handbags, leather wallets, etc.
"Maybe because of my serious work, investment in the methodical learning process and high focus on product design, my business is quite favorable. More importantly, the trend of using handmade items is currently very popular, especially among young people, possibly because of its uniqueness and strangeness completely different from industrial garments. Finally, with this product, I just need to sell well on social networking platforms, not necessarily having to rent a store to increase costs, said Mr. Hung Anh.

Currently, Mr. Hung Anh's handmade leather clothing facility has 7 workers, a worker salary of 5 million VND/month, and a hard work worker salary of 13 million VND/month. For unique and unusual products according to customer requirements or must order the leather line, lock type..., Mr. Hung Anh will return the product.
Although it is quite convenient to do business, Mr. Hung Anh said that not everyone who does handmade goods business is successful. The reason is due to lack of business knowledge, lack of market research, lack of understanding about handmade items or not really love them. "It's not easy to create a product and post it for sale. We must constantly innovate, have many new models and ensure the quality of every needle line, hundreds of products must be handled equally. Therefore, the post-inspection stage is extremely important, requiring good craftsmen to check every detail. More importantly, you must commit to the after-sales stage, having products with lifelong warranty in details such as locks, unique logos, hook ropes..., Mr. Hung Anh revealed.
"During peak months, my income can be up to 70 million VND/month, and at low levels, I can also get 35 million VND/month," said Mr. Hung Anh.
Graduated from university with a major in economic law, Ms. Nguyen Tung Lan and her family could not have expected a day when she turned her passion away and became involved in the beverage business.
According to Ms. Lan, after graduating from university in 2019, she worked as a bank employee with a busy work schedule. With a good income but too busy at work, Ms. Lan cannot find joy in her work. In July 2022, Ms. Lan decided to quit her banking job with the initial intention of spending a few months looking for a new, more suitable job.
During her home days, she has time to take care of herself, pay attention to her diet, nutrition, especially drinks from fruit juice, yogurt, dried nuts... mixed with many modern recipes.
At first, it was only for myself, but when I sent it to relatives and friends to drink together, everyone praised Ms. Lan's drink as very delicious and round. Ms. Lan attended an additional course on mixing for 3 months.
At the end of 2022, Ms. Lan carefully prepared everything and opened a beverage shop in Cua Nam ward (Hanoi).
"I am determined to make drinks from the freshest and best ingredients, even though the price is higher than the general level. At first, customers drank it out of curiosity, but later everyone admitted that my drink had a price commensurate with the quality. I have now opened 2 more stores in Cau Giay and Bo De wards, the drink menu from the original 9 dishes has increased to more than 20 dishes", Ms. Lan shared.
Currently, Ms. Lan still has many familiar drink orders from agencies and units. "Every birthday or work, an order at a large agency, I can sell hundreds of glasses of fruit juice. With 3 stores and 8 current employees, after deducting expenses, I earn about 40 million VND per month, said Ms. Lan.
