Recruiting thousands of workers
On March 5, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the leaders of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Home Affairs said that after the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year, many businesses in the province have announced recruitment needs.

According to a preliminary survey by the Department of Home Affairs, there are more than 50 businesses that need to recruit workers after the Lunar New Year, with the number of workers to be recruited being more than 21,000 people.
Businesses need to recruit a large number of workers such as: NY Hoa Viet Co., Ltd. (recruiting 3,000 workers), S&H Vina Co., Ltd. (recruiting 2,000 workers), Tsun Tat Vietnam Toys Co., Ltd. (recruiting 1,000 workers), HUG Co., Ltd. (recruiting 1,000 workers), Hongzhan International Industry Co., Ltd. (recruiting 1,000 workers); South Asia Knitwear Limited Co., Ltd. (recruiting 700 workers)...
Due to the labor recruitment requirements of enterprises regarding technical expertise being not high, mainly unskilled labor, the province's ability to meet labor supply is about over 90%.
In response to the labor recruitment needs of businesses at the beginning of the year, to support the connection of labor supply and demand, create jobs and develop the labor market in the province, the Department has requested the People's Committees of wards and communes to pay attention to large enterprises using a lot of labor, regularly collect and update labor recruitment needs of businesses in the area" - a representative of Thanh Hoa Department of Home Affairs shared.
In addition, the People's Committees of wards and communes direct departments, boards and villages and residential groups to coordinate with businesses, widely announce the business's labor recruitment needs to people in the area, so that workers who need to find jobs can participate in applying.
Thanh Hoa Department of Home Affairs also directed the Provincial Employment Service Center to coordinate with localities and businesses with labor recruitment needs to promote the organization of online and direct job transaction sessions to advise, introduce jobs, and provide free labor market information in communes and wards in the province, especially in communes and wards where businesses have high recruitment demand in 2026, ensuring timely labor supply to meet the production and business needs of businesses, especially those businesses lacking labor.
Recruiting enough workers after 2 days of notification
Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Huu Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Sakurai Vietnam Co., Ltd. (in Le Mon Industrial Park, Quang Phu ward, Thanh Hoa province) said that at the beginning of the new year 2026, the company has a recruitment demand of about 1,000 workers (for 2 establishments). In which, establishment 2 has a recruitment demand of about 600 workers.

After the Lunar New Year, the company announced the recruitment of 600 workers, working at facility 2 in Hoang Phu commune. Immediately after the announcement, workers flocked to submit applications, and in just 2 days the company completed the recruitment" - Mr. Quang shared.
According to Mr. Quang, this year the company is expanding its scale, so the demand for general labor recruitment is higher than in previous years. Especially for skilled workers, the number of recruitments is not large, but the number of applications is quite high.
According to the sharing of representatives of some businesses in the area, in recent years, the labor market in the province has been quite vibrant. This stems from many reasons, from many people deciding to switch from unstable industries (such as agriculture, freelance labor) to work at factories and enterprises to have stable salaries and pay insurance benefits.
In addition, there is a shift between regions and provinces, many Thanh Hoa people working in the southern and northern provinces, after returning to their hometowns for Tet, decided to stay in their hometowns to work. This also makes the labor market in Thanh Hoa after Tet more vibrant.
Representatives of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Home Affairs said that on average in previous years, there were about 25,000 workers from other provinces returning to their hometowns for Tet. After Tet, about 5,000 people stayed in their hometowns to work. However, to date, the number of people staying in their hometowns after Tet has tended to increase, from 7,000 to 10,000 people.
The reason is that businesses in the locality are constantly developing and expanding, with stable wages and paying many good preferential treatments to workers" - A representative of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Home Affairs informed.
