On May 10, the Trade Union of Thu Dau Mot Ward coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward and units to organize the launch of Workers' Month, Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026.
Attending the launching ceremony were representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, leaders of Thu Dau Mot ward, grassroots trade unions, businesses and more than 200 union members.
Thu Dau Mot Ward Trade Union said that this is a practical activity to care for the material and spiritual life of trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the ward. This activity has received active companionship from local authorities, businesses and philanthropists in the area.

At the program, the Trade Union of Thu Dau Mot Ward presented 300 gifts to support workers in difficult circumstances. Thereby, encouraging morale and helping workers have more motivation to rise up in life and work.
Also at the program, the units organized many practical activities for workers such as: free eye exams for workers in difficult circumstances; organizing recruitment and job introduction sessions; organizing "zero-dollar market" to support essential necessities for workers and laborers in difficult circumstances; organizing free haircut booths and supporting opening bank accounts and free phone SIMs for workers.
At the launching ceremony, the program "Sharing Love - Meaningful Affection for Dat Thu" also took place with 1,000 free breakfast and morning coffee portions for people and workers in the ward.
