Dong Nai is one of the provinces with the largest number of union members in the country, with more than 700,000 civil servants and employees. The province has just launched Workers' Month and Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025 with many meaningful and practical activities, caring for and protecting union members and workers.
President of the Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor Nguyen Thi Nhu Y visited and presented gifts to share with workers working at Pou Chen Vietnam Co., Ltd., who are in difficult circumstances, have serious illnesses, visit their health, grasp the situation, life and encourage workers, and at the same time requested the grassroots trade unions to continue to coordinate with enterprises to come up with the best care and support policies for workers who are unfortunately suffering from serious illnesses and have difficult labor. The Provincial Federation of Labor also supported each worker with 2 million VND/person and gifts.

The Trade Union of Pou Sung Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Trang Bom District) coordinated with the Company's Board of Directors to organize many activities to raise awareness of labor safety and health protection in the working environment, visit and encourage workers who have work-related accidents, families with especially difficult circumstances; organize many activities such as: Commending and rewarding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to ensure occupational safety and hygiene; visiting and giving gifts to workers who have work-related accidents of 11% or more; visiting workers in especially difficult circumstances, under the following criteria: Workers with serious illnesses, workers with disabilities, workers' families with difficult running conditions; organizing a sprint on Labor Safety and Hygiene Month 2025.
Trade unions help workers win lawsuits during Workers' Month 2025
To celebrate Workers' Month 2025, the Trade Union Legal Consulting Center (Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor) has also just supported workers to protect their rights in court.
The People's Court of Trang Bom District has accepted all the lawsuit requests of employee Le Quang Trung (41 years old) forcing San Lim Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Trang Bom District) to receive employees back to work under signed labor contracts; pay salaries for days employees are not allowed to work, compensate for 2 months of additional salary; pay social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance for employees... with a total amount of more than 750 million VND. This is a case where workers were consulted and provided with legal support from the Trade Union Legal Consulting Center (Dong Nai Provincial Federation of Labor) from the beginning and sent union officials to represent them according to their authority to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
According to the employee's application, Mr. Trung was recruited to work at San Lim Furniture Vietnam Co., Ltd. from October 1, 2006 under an indefinite-term labor contract. During his work, Mr. Trung always completed the assigned tasks, without violating the company's rules.
