The "Day for Workers' Health" in 2026 has many meaningful activities such as: Giving gifts to 10 workers suffering from critical illnesses; giving health insurance cards to 20 union members; seminars on proactive health care and occupational disease prevention and voluntary blood donation activities...

Vice President of the VGCL Ngo Duy Hieu affirmed that the VGCL's organization of the "Day for Workers' Health" aims to promote the role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and protecting workers, contributing to reducing the burden of disease, improving the quality of human resources, and promoting sustainable development.


This is also an activity to concretize the policy orientation of Resolution No. 72 - NQ/TW, strengthen communication, mobilize union members and workers to raise awareness and change behavior towards practicing a healthy lifestyle, regular physical training, proactively preventing diseases, especially occupational diseases" - Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu shared.

At the program, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also highly appreciated the idea of integrating voluntary blood donation activities into the "Day for Workers' Health", and affirmed that blood donation has profound humanistic meaning.
The blood donation program organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion attracted many participants.

For the 5th blood donation, Mr. Phan Nghiem Long - Secretary of the Youth Union, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, said that having health is extremely happy and even happier to share that joy with patients and the community.
Perhaps among many giving, blood donation is the most humane act between people. I hope that the youth union members of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor who are healthy enough will participate in blood donation for patients" - Mr. Long shared.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga - Trade Union Affairs Committee, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said: "After registering for blood donation three times and being disqualified because I am not healthy enough, today I have "crossed the line" successfully, I am very happy because I finally completed the goal of participating in blood donation. I hope to have enough health to continue sharing my blood with patients in the coming times.
