At about 1:40 am on the same day, at km190 of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway (Chau Que commune, Lao Cai province), a 20-seater passenger car carrying 12 people overturned.
According to initial information, at the time of the incident, it was raining and the road surface was slippery. When moving to the above location, the passenger car suddenly lost control, overturned and blocked part of the lane.
Fortunately, the accident did not cause any casualties.

Immediately after receiving the information, Team 1 of the Traffic Police Department coordinated with functional forces to be present at the scene to divert traffic, protect the scene and clarify the cause of the incident. By the morning of the same day, the expressway was reopened to traffic.
Functional forces recommend that in conditions of heavy rain, slippery roads, especially at night, drivers need to comply with speed, maintain a safe distance, and drive in the correct lane. For narrow road sections, under construction, or with many curves and long slopes, speed should be reduced below 50km/h to limit risks.
