"The Trade Union has strengthened information through social networks, internal contact groups to remind work schedules. With proactive connection, helping workers feel secure to return early," Ms. Ha added.

At KYUNGSHIN VIETNAM Co., Ltd., representatives of the grassroots Trade Union said that 1,524/1,553 workers returned to the factory on the first day of the year. According to the unit, production activities took place stably. The atmosphere in the workshops recorded concentration, urgency but ensured labor safety. Many workers said that they had soon stabilized their lives to catch up with work.

Ms. Tran Cam Tu, a worker at Ty Bach Co., Ltd., was very excited to return to the factory after Tet. "DuRING the recent Tet holiday, the Trade Union and the company took care of everything from salaries and bonuses for the 13th month to Tet gifts, organized Tet Eve meals, and cultural performances to create a warm atmosphere. Thanks to that, we are even more assured to stick together," Ms. Tu shared.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hoang - a worker at Mega Surplus Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd. - said that he returned to work with a ready mindset, setting a goal to improve his skills in the new year. According to Mr. Hoang, the Trade Union's concern during Tet is a great motivation for workers.

At HS Vietnam Chemical Co., Ltd. - Soc Trang Branch (Can Tho City), more than 1,250 union members and workers have returned to work. The enterprise gives lucky money of 100,000 VND/person on the first working day of the new year. Worker Tran Khanh Ly - a member of the company's grassroots Trade Union said that this is the first year she has worked at the enterprise. "I received lucky money at the beginning of the year and previously received a shopping voucher of 500,000 VND at the online Trade Union Tet Market to buy necessities. This is the first time I have received Tet gifts from the company, helping to reduce spending and share some of the difficulties for my family," Ly shared.

According to Ms. Ha, the company promotes posting recruitment information on Facebook and Zalo pages to reach candidates widely. "Using social networks helps spread information quickly and save costs," Ms. Ha informed.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation - shared that recruitment demand at the beginning of the year is often high. Trade union levels have proactively linked with businesses, job introduction centers and local authorities to provide recruitment information widely to workers. "Trade unions not only support businesses in finding workers but also advise and guide workers on rights, contracts, and insurance regimes to limit risks arising," Mr. Linh added.
