Dong Thap province currently has 756 grassroots trade unions, with more than 200,8808 union members. This is the core force for models to enter life, spreading widely in businesses and the community.
The models not only bring practical efficiency in terms of material and spiritual aspects but also contribute to clearly affirming the role and position of the Trade Union organization in social life and in building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in the locality.

The "Non-profit Trade Union Supermarket" model continues to be maintained and replicated, providing essential goods at prices lower than the market and ensuring quality. Not only helping to reduce living costs, the model is also a "connection point" to propagate policies, provide legal advice and implement welfare programs for workers.
For the "Pregnant and Young Child Care Club" model, the whole province has launched 6 clubs with 474 members participating. Thereby, creating an environment to share knowledge on reproductive health care, childcare and gender equality policies, contributing to building a stable and sustainable female labor force.

The "Self-managed worker dormitory group" model has created a foundation to maintain security in workers' residential areas. The whole province currently has 91 self-managed worker dormitory areas with 8,272 workers participating, along with 63 mediation groups with 365 members. The model helps to propagate laws, prevent crime, maintain security and order, and build a united and stable worker community.

Participants in the "Happiness Bus" model are supported with a full package of free prenatal and childbirth services. From March 2025, the program has been implemented and broadcast for 14 episodes on television, creating a positive social effect, helping female workers feel secure in their work and stabilize their family life.

Coordinating with the Provincial Police and the Provincial Labor Federation to implement the "Workers 5 No" model, mobilizing workers to implement 5 "no" contents on social evils, traffic safety, labor safety, weapons - firecrackers prevention and illegal strikes. The model is piloted effectively at Cadovimex II Processing and Import-Export Joint Stock Company (Sa Dec Industrial Park), contributing to building a disciplined and safe labor environment.

One of the models with profound political significance that Dong Thap Trade Union effectively implements is "Trade Union directly fostering and introducing outstanding union members who are direct production workers in enterprises outside the State sector for the Party to consider and admit".
In 2025 alone, trade unions at all levels in the province introduced 1,481 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration for fostering and admission (reaching 194.3% of the target). Among them, 502 union members were admitted to the Party. In the non-state enterprise sector alone, 131 workers directly involved in production were admitted to the Party ranks.
This result not only contributes to supplementing the young party member force but also affirms the role of the Trade Union in Party building, gradually enhancing the political and social position of the Dong Thap working class in the period of industrialization and modernization.
