On May 10, the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor informed that during the 2025 Workers' Month, the provincial union will support the construction of "Union Shelter" houses for 20 union members with housing difficulties. Each union member is supported with 50 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - a union member of the Center for Agricultural Extension of Crops, Livestock and Seafood in Dak Lak province - is one of the lucky ones who received support to build a house in this period.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nam happily said: Receiving timely support from the trade union organization is a great fortune for my family. I will immediately start preparing to build a house.
Expecting that from the support of the union and the family's accumulation over the years, my wife and I will have a family we wish for. Thereby, working with peace of mind and completing assigned tasks well".

Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor - said: "In the coming time, trade unions at all levels will continue to organize emulation movements and build trade union shelters. At the same time, reward and replicate advanced models and good deeds to attract union members and workers to participate".
"At the same time, the province will focus on doing a good job of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions in non-state-owned enterprises," added the Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Labor Federation.
In 2024, trade unions at all levels in Dak Lak province mobilized union members to support the construction and repair of 127 Trade Union Shelters for union members with difficult housing circumstances with a budget of nearly 5.67 billion VND. Organized visits and presented gifts to 35,870 union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses, work-related accidents... with a total budget of nearly 16 billion VND.
