On December 12, the Quang Tri Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) announced that the Trade Union of Long Dai Industrial Park Company Limited held its 9th Congress, term 2025-2030. Attending and directing the Congress were comrade Phan Thanh Lan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Pham Xuan Phong - Chairman and Director of the Company.
In the 2023-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties due to economic fluctuations, unstable consumption markets and the impact of natural disasters, workers' lives are still guaranteed thanks to the solidarity and efforts of the company's collective.
The union focuses on caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of union members, effectively implementing social activities, supporting 635 union members in difficulty with a total amount of nearly 600 million VND; coordinating the implementation of "Tet Sum Vay", "Worker's Month", supporting more than 162 million VND and building 5 "Union Shelters" and "Children's House" worth 200 million VND.
Speaking at the Congress, leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Company acknowledged the efforts of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and the labor collective, and at the same time oriented many key tasks in the new term.
The Congress elected 9 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term. At the first Executive Committee meeting, Mr. Do Huu Viet was elected Chairman; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nam held the position of Vice Chairman of the Company's Trade Union.
