The conference is tasked with properly assessing the current situation of union members; the results of implementing the Resolution of the grassroots Trade Union Congress (CDCS) in the past term; drawing lessons, limitations, shortcomings and causes; and proposing directions, tasks and solutions for implementation in the coming time.
Currently, the grassroots union has 38 union members, with female union members accounting for 81.6%. The Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union consists of 7 comrades, 3 comrades of the Inspection Committee and 5 trade union groups.
During the past term, implementing the direction of the City Labor Federation and the consensus of the Party Cell, the Trade Union has widely deployed union members and workers to contribute to the funds.
The Executive Committee of the Trade Union has paid attention to and considered the important task of the trade union organization; propaganda and education have contributed to raising awareness of politics, ideology, legal understanding, and education on a healthy lifestyle among union members.
Every year, the Trade Union has launched and registered emulation titles since the beginning of the year, striving to complete assigned targets, plans and tasks.
For the goal, direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term, developing 100% of union members when employees are allowed to sign labor contracts; strive to have 95% or more of civil servants and employees be informed about the Party's guidelines, resolutions, policies and laws, the Resolution of the superior union, regulations, and regulations of the unit; each year, at least 15% of union members register to implement: Subjects and initiatives for technical innovation.
In addition, 100% of union members registered to compete at the beginning of the year; 100% of union members participated in social campaigns: "Golden Heart of Can Tho Trade Union" Fund, "For the Poor" Fund and other campaigns; during the term, at least 20% of union members participated in voluntary blood donation each year.
During the term, introduce at least 3 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of training and admission; maintain the implementation of the annual skillful mass mobilization model; strive to be classified by the Union every year from completing tasks well and better.
The conference elected the new Executive Committee of the grassroots trade union consisting of 5 comrades. Mr. Lam Hoang Dung - Deputy Director of the Center, elected Chairman of the Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030.
