During the past term, the Trade Union of Soc Trang Regional Medical Center has proactively coordinated with the professional team to develop and supplement important internal regulations such as the Internal Spending Regulations, the Grassroots Democracy Regulations, ensuring publicity, transparency, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members.
The work of caring for the material lives of union members and workers has been carried out promptly and thoughtfully, demonstrated through support for the Lunar New Year with a total value of over 200 million VND; creating conditions for union members to borrow from banks with a total amount of 4.76 billion VND, contributing to significantly improving family life.
The union also mobilizes union members to participate in the humanitarian blood donation movement, responding to campaigns launched by the health sector and the Red Cross Society such as "Donate blood to save people - a noble gesture". Many union members have volunteered to participate many times, becoming exemplary examples in the unit's humanitarian movement.
In addition, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union also cares about supporting union members in difficult circumstances, serious illnesses, or families with relatives with serious illnesses through many forms such as visits, encouragement and internal mobilization.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Tran Tu Nhien - Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation proposed that the Trade Union of the Soc Trang Medical Center area should truly be a "mental support" for union members, especially in the context of unit arrangement and merger. We must grasp the thoughts and aspirations and promptly resolve problems, ensuring that the rights of workers are not affected.
It is necessary to improve the quality of organizing conferences of cadres and civil servants, turning this into a real democratic forum, ensuring that 100% of union members are informed, participate and promptly respond to comments. Innovating propaganda methods, effectively using social networking platforms and information technology to bring policies and Resolutions to 100% of union members, especially new documents related to the health sector.
Ms. Nhien suggested that it is necessary to focus on training the professional skills of Trade Union officials, ensuring that 100% of officials are trained at least once/term. This is an urgent requirement to improve negotiation and dialogue capacity and handle arising situations.
Continue to focus on the movement "Good workers, Creative workers", associated with improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and implementing the code of conduct of medical staff. It is necessary to focus on discovering and replicating advanced models, good people's examples - doing good deeds in a timely and fair manner, creating strong motivation for the entire unit.
The Congress elected the new Executive Committee of the Trade Union; elected delegates to attend the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030. Mr. Nguyen Ba Dat was elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of Soc Trang Regional Medical Center for the 2025 - 2030 term.
