On October 18, Nha Trang University Trade Union held the 22nd Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The congress was attended by 122 delegates representing more than 700 union members in the whole school.
During the 2023-2025 term, the School's Trade Union has closely coordinated with the School Council and the Board of Directors in caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, civil servants and workers.
The Trade Union supervises the full implementation of regimes and policies, while promoting patriotic emulation movements, actively building "happy schools".
Activities to care for the material and spiritual lives of union members are focused on. The Truong Trade Union has donated and allocated charity funds to support union members, civil servants, and workers with terminal illnesses and serious illnesses and contributed to charity and social funds with a total amount of over 1.5 billion VND.
In addition, many cultural, sports and artistic activities are organized on the occasion of major holidays, contributing to improving the spiritual life of union members.
The Congress identified the key task for the 2025-2030 term as continuing to innovate the content and methods of trade union activities in a specific and practical direction; promoting the intelligence and creativity of union members and workers, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 22nd School Party Congress, building the School Trade Union to be increasingly strong and comprehensive.
The Congress also voted to approve 11 targets to strive for for the next 5 years. In particular, strive for 100% of civil servants to be union members; over 80% of union members are classified as having quality from task completion level or higher; over 80% of female union members achieve the title of "Good at school work, good at housework".
The School's Trade Union aims to have 100% of lecturers innovate teaching methods, well implement professional standards and codes of conduct for civil servants, public employees, and workers; 100% of trade union officials receive professional training and fostering; continue to maintain the title of grassroots trade union to excellently complete their tasks.
The unit also strives to train and introduce 45-50 outstanding union members to the Party Committee for consideration of admission.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the school's Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 11 people.
In which, Mr. Tran Trong Dao was re-elected as Chairman of the Nha Trang University Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term.
The Congress also elected 2 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate to attend the 17th Congress of the Vietnam Education Trade Union, term 2025-2030.
