On the morning of September 12, Nha Trang University held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint Dr. Quach Hoai Nam - Vice Principal of the school, to hold the position of Principal for the 2020 - 2025 term.
In his congratulatory speech, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son highly appreciated the role of Nha Trang University in the Vietnamese higher education system, especially in the South Central and Central Highlands regions.
He emphasized that this is one of the educational institutions that are prioritized for development in the new period.
The Minister requested the new Principal Quach Hoai Nam and the collective of leaders, staff and lecturers to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, seize development opportunities to effectively carry out strategic tasks, making Nha Trang University one of the prestigious and influential training institutions in the region and the whole country.
At the same time, the school needs to resolutely orient the development according to the model of a multi-disciplinary, multi-disciplinary university, in parallel with inheriting and promoting the traditional strengths of marine science - technology and aquaculture.
This will be the foundation for Nha Trang University to affirm its identity, sustainable development and international integration.
