On the afternoon of November 28, the Saigon Agricultural Corporation (Sagri) Trade Union held an expanded Executive Committee meeting.
The report at the conference showed that the current number of union members is 1,876/1,932 workers, reaching 97%. In the period of 2024 - 2025, 11 member grassroots trade unions (CDCS 100%) have negotiated and signed collective labor agreements, negotiated to increase the mid- shift meal allowance, increase allowances, care, and visits, contributing to increasing income for employees.
Sagri Trade Union has organized well the annual Conference of Employees and dialogues, creating conditions for employees to meet, exchange, contribute opinions to employers about their thoughts, aspirations, and feelings, and at the same time discuss solutions to improve production and business efficiency and care for the material and spiritual life of employees.
Sagri Trade Union visited and presented gifts to 300 union members in difficult circumstances, worth a total of 450 million VND, member unions and enterprises presented union members and employees with 2,220 Tet gifts with an amount of over 2 billion VND.
At the same time, coordinate with member enterprises of the Corporation and partners who are enterprises and service providers to implement incentive programs for union members, organize workers' fairs, workers' festivals, mobile sales trips, etc., thereby helping thousands of union members buy high-quality goods at reduced prices compared to the market.

The conference also set a goal that in the period of 2025 - 2030, it will strive to increase the rate of union membership in state-owned units and enterprises to 98% or more; non-state sector to 90% or more; Training and introducing at least 100 outstanding union members for the Party to consider and admit; 100% of member trade unions signing collective labor agreements, of which 50% or more are classified as A, at least 50% of collective labor agreements have beneficial content for employees.
At the same time, strive for at least 80% of union members and employees to access union member welfare programs; 100% of union members and employees to have regular health check-ups and screening for occupational diseases and women's diseases.
The conference also announced the decision of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation approving the extension of the Sagri Trade Union term until 2030. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ngoan, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy General Director of Sagri, was recognized as Chairwoman of Sagri Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.
