Difficulties in developing Party organizations at FDI enterprises
At the forum, Mr. Tran Quang Khai - representative of Fujikin Vietnam Electricity Company Limited (Hanoi) said that Fujikin Vietnam Company Limited is a 100% foreign-owned enterprise with about 100,000 workers. However, up to now, the company's Party cell has only 8 official Party members and 5 groups that are in the process of being reviewed and admitted.
He said that the work of building a Party organization in FDI enterprises still faces many obstacles, stemming from reasons such as limited political awareness of workers, lack of interest or fear of participating in political activities, and lack of awareness to practice to become Party members.
Business owners have not fully recognized the role of Party organizations and unions in enterprises, and some enterprises even cause difficulties for the operations of these organizations.

From the above reality, Mr. Tran Quang Khai proposed a number of solutions to improve the effectiveness of the Party organization's operations in FDI enterprises, including: Promoting the political core role of grassroots Party organizations, promoting propaganda work, mobilizing workers to well implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and the State.
Innovation, improving the quality of Party cell activities, ensuring the content of activities suitable to the characteristics of the enterprise, focusing on discussing and proposing solutions to remove difficulties in production and business.
Strengthen the organization of thematic activities with practical content, focusing on technical and technological innovation initiatives that benefit businesses.
Closely coordinate with business leaders in propaganda and mobilization work to comply with labor discipline, ensure stable jobs and income.
Organize training courses and foster Party work skills for Party committee officials in FDI enterprises, helping to improve leadership and management capacity.
There should be more specific and appropriate guidance for the characteristics of FDI enterprises, helping the Party organization operate effectively and connect with workers.
The story of a worker striving to join the Party
Also at the forum, Mr. Lai The Phuc - a worker at Chutex International Company Limited (Song Than Industrial Park, Binh Duong) shared that he was born into a purely farming family in a religious hamlet in Kim Son, Ninh Binh.
After finishing high school, he asked his parents to let him go to Binh Duong - a land with many industrial parks - to find a job. In the early days, the foreign land was full of difficulties, but he eventually landed a job as a sewing worker at Chutex Company.
For many years, Mr. Phuc has continuously strived and devoted himself to work and life. Thanks to his diligence and responsibility, the company's board of directors has assigned him an increasingly suitable job, and his income has also improved gradually. Seeing him enthusiastic and energetic, the grassroots union introduced him to join the union Executive Committee.

In 2020, when Binh Duong had a policy of developing party members in foreign-invested enterprises, Mr. Phuc was introduced to join the Party by the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union.
At first, he did not think he would have a chance, because in Binh Duong there were millions of workers like him, while he himself was a foreigner. However, after being informed and educated about the Party, he better understood the role of the Party organization, the Trade Union organization as well as the socio-economic situation of the country.
I realized that the Party does not discriminate. As long as they are loyal and enthusiastic to the Fatherland, colleagues and people, anyone can become a Party member, said Mr. Phuc.
From that awareness, Mr. Phuc began to learn more about the Party and voluntarily wrote an admission application. In 2021, he officially became a party member, working at the Binh Duong Industrial Parks Trade Union Party Cell. From now on, he felt more mature and understood more clearly the role of the Party organization in the enterprise.
After having enough Party members, he and his colleagues proposed to establish a separate Party cell at the company. After three years of operation, the Party cell now has 25 Party members, most of whom are officials of the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union and key officials of enterprises. Mr. Phuc was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell.
"I have come to realize that joining the Party is not only an honor but also a responsibility to train myself more. But certainly, that brings many values: I am more mature, the business where I work is more stable, the grassroots trade union operates more effectively," Mr. Phuc shared.
