On the evening of December 16, at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, a program will be held to honor 95 outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The program was organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, broadcast live on VTV1 channel, Vietnam Television.
This event was held to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and to welcome party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress.
Before the commendation program, delegates participated in practical activities such as: The reporting ceremony of the October Sacrifice of the delegation of 95 outstanding workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam at Ba Dinh Square; the forum "Strive to be a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam" at the Hall of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board.
The conference is an opportunity for workers' Party members to exchange and share experiences in the process of cultivation, training, striving to become exemplary workers' Party members; encourage workers to strive to become Party members; raise awareness and pride of union members when being honored to be in the ranks of the Party.
Through the conference, it further promoted the attention of Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in leading and directing the workers' movement and trade union activities, especially the development of Party members who are workers; strengthening the close relationship between the Party and the working class, creating motivation for union members to continue to strive, confidently step forward under the Party's flag, contributing to building the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, civilized and modern.
As one of 95 outstanding workers who are commended party members, Mr. Nguyen Van Chien (worker at Bac Ninh Clean Water Joint Stock Company) felt very touched and honored.
According to him, attending the service announcement ceremony for Uncle Ho and attending forums and congresses to commend him is a pride that he will never forget. This is also a motivation for him to make more efforts, have more initiatives to combat clean water loss, and bring benefits to customers and the company.
According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the work of developing party members among workers is one of the important tasks that trade unions at all levels have actively implemented to affirm and promote the role of trade unions in building the Party and the political system.
For many terms, the Trade Union has always built a target of developing party members among union members and employees as an important annual political task.
In the 2018 - 2023 term, trade unions at all levels have introduced more than 700,000 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of training and admission, an increase of 1.8 times compared to the 2013 - 2018 term. Of which, nearly 400,000 outstanding union members have been admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam, an increase of 1.4 times compared to the 2013 - 2018 term.
In 2024 alone, trade unions at all levels introduced 158,813 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of training and admission. Of which, the number of outstanding union members introduced by the Trade Union admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam is 80,327 comrades.
Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu said that there are currently many resources to develop party members, but it is predicted that in the coming years, party development will face many difficulties...

Developing the Party, creating a source of vitality for the Party, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party is a very important task. Workers are a huge source of party development, very important in the coming time" - Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu emphasized.
Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu expressed his hope that the event to honor 95 outstanding workers who are party members will be widely spread so that the whole society can see the importance of developing party members among workers, thereby focusing more on this work to build an increasingly strong party.
According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, among the 95 outstanding workers who are commended as party members, 70 are male (accounting for 73.68%); 25 are female (accounting for 26.32%). The average age is 44.4; the oldest is 60, the youngest is 32. The person with the most years of work is 33 years; the least years of work is 10 years. The average party age of individuals honored is 13 years; the oldest party member is 32 years; the youngest party member is 3 years.
Regarding the type of enterprise, there are 48 state-owned enterprise delegates (accounting for 50.5%); 47 non-state-owned enterprises (accounting for 49.05%), including 33 delegates from private enterprises and 14 delegates from FDI enterprises.
