The campaign "Vietnamese workers say no to drugs - Million hearts, a determination" is organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security in Hai Phong.

On the evening of September 18, at Viet Tiep Palace, Hai Phong City, the Launching Ceremony of the Campaign "Vietnamese Workers Say No to Drugs - Million Hearts, a Determination" was organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security.

Attending the launching ceremony were: Mr. Nguyen Quang Duc - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (MTTQ), central organizations; Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour; Ms. Tran Lan Phuong - Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, representative of leaders of the Vietnam Trade Federation; Colonel Nguyen Van Cuong - Deputy Director of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (C04), Ministry of Public Security; representatives of departments of the General Confederation.

On the Hai Phong side, there were Mr. Do Manh Hien - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Mr. Dao Trong Duc - Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee; representatives of businesses in the industrial park and about 3,000 union members and workers working in industrial parks and export processing zones in Hai Phong City.

On September 18 and 19, 2026, the VGCL presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to organize a communication program, art exchange, and seminar on drug prevention and control for workers in industrial parks, and at the same time launched the Campaign "Vietnamese workers say no to drugs - Million hearts, one determination". This is a large program to prevent, prevent and repel drug evils among workers, practically implementing Sub-project 4 "Improving the effectiveness of propaganda on drug prevention and control for workers in industrial parks" in Project 7 of the National Target Program on Drug Prevention and Control to 2030.

As an activity at the General Confederation level, marking the start of the implementation of Sub-project 4 in Trade Union levels, creating a premise for effective implementation of tasks of the National Target Program on Drug Prevention and Control to 2030, striving to directly and indirectly reach 200,000 workers and laborers.

At the program, delegates and workers watched a report on the current situation and harmful effects of drugs in workers and the role and activities of the Trade Union organization in the fight against and prevention of drugs, protecting workers.

The special art program is staged in a modern form, combining music, stage, multimedia presentation, LED lighting effects and laser techniques, with the participation of reputable young singers and artists, loved by a large number of workers such as singers Quoc Thien, Vo Ha Tram and many famous faces, performing in the art night. Opening with a light performance, 3D images and music with the theme "Together Beating". The performances "Love Vietnamese Smiles", "My Hometown Port", "Shining Together" and "Joining Hands" are staged with the participation of artists, dance troupes, the Police force and outstanding workers.

After the main ceremony part, the stage continued to switch to a youthful, vibrant musical atmosphere, creating an art night dedicated to Hai Phong workers.

Tomorrow morning (September 19), the "Vietnamese Workers Resolutely Say No to Drugs" Day takes place; Exchange - seminar program between workers and leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, representatives of the Ministry of Public Security, experts and artists; sharing experiences and effective ways of preventing drugs at enterprises and industrial parks, supporting people after detoxification to reintegrate into the community.

Along with that, the space "Trade Union Welfare - Accompanying Workers" with 50 booths, including "0 VND" booths, discounted and preferential booths, booths of accompanying businesses and essential service consulting booths, directly serving union members and workers.
