On September 5, the working delegation of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HFF) led by Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the City Labor Federation had a working session with the Party Committee of Minh Thanh commune.
Attending and receiving the delegation were Mr. Le Van Muoi - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee and officials from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Thanh commune.
It is known that Minh Thanh commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Minh Hoa commune, part of Minh Tan commune and part of the former Minh Thanh commune. The newly established Minh Thanh commune has a natural area of 159.059 km2 and a population of 24,215 people. This area has been previously planned by Binh Duong province to develop a number of industrial clusters, industrial parks, and eco-tourism areas. Currently, Minh Thanh commune is attracting businesses to come here to build factories and recruit workers.
At the meeting, Mr. Ly Thanh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Thanh commune reported on the local characteristics, business activities, labor relations, personnel work, and local facilities.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat - Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation acknowledged the efforts from the grassroots. At the same time, they expressed their appreciation for the active coordination of the Party Committee and the Fatherland Front of the commune in caring for workers and union members.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Dat hopes that in the coming time, the commune will work with the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation's Area Management Working Group No. 9, actively survey and grasp the situation of enterprises; propagate, mobilize, develop union members, establish grassroots unions and trade unions. Thereby, consolidating grassroots trade unions, striving to achieve the target of establishing commune trade unions according to regulations.
