Devoting heart and soul to care for workers
More than 23 years of attachment to Lix Detergent Joint Stock Company (Ho Chi Minh City), in professional work, Mr. Nguyen Ho Khanh is one of the people directly involved in the digital transformation process at the enterprise. In 2025 alone, the Information Technology department under his charge has built and deployed many new management software, and at the same time supplemented and improved dozens of features for existing systems to improve the efficiency of production and business operations.
In particular, he and his colleagues participated in building and successfully deploying the VinachemMart e-commerce platform system - a pioneering e-commerce platform of the chemical industry, contributing to promoting the modern distribution channel of Vietnam National Chemical Group.
This platform operates multi-channel - including the website and VinachemMart mobile application, helping users easily access it on computers or smartphones. The goal of the platform is to bring consumers a convenient and reliable online shopping channel right from the manufacturer, so that anyone nationwide can directly purchase genuine, high-quality, clear-sourced products from Vinachem and its member units.
Not stopping at professional work, in the role of Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, Mr. Khanh always dedicates a lot of enthusiasm to activities to care for the lives of workers.
He and the Trade Union Executive Committee participated in negotiating and building collective labor agreements with many contents that are more beneficial to workers such as supporting transportation costs to return to their hometowns during Tet, supporting shopping at the beginning of the year, expanding health care regimes or improving the quality of periodic health check-ups.
Along with that is the launch of many emulation movements for creative labor and technical improvement to improve productivity and production efficiency. Many initiatives of officials, union members, and workers have been applied, bringing billions of VND in profit to businesses, and at the same time contributing to spreading the spirit of innovation in the workforce.
Home built with love and sharing
For Mr. Khanh, success in work is only truly complete when there is a solid rear.
That rear is Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Gam - his wife, currently Deputy Head of Business Department of GT channel of Lix Detergent Joint Stock Company.
Like her husband, Ms. Gam always completes her professional tasks well, actively participates in trade union activities and has many initiatives to improve her work.
The two work together in a high-pressure environment, taking on many responsibilities together. But instead of letting the work cycle take away the time spent on family, they choose to share with each other from the smallest things. From taking care of children, housework to caring for grandparents on both sides, everything is arranged together. There is no rigid distinction between husband's work and wife's work.
That sharing helps each person have more time and motivation to complete their tasks well.
The good news is that those values are being passed down to the children. The eldest daughter Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran has achieved the title of excellent student for many consecutive years from grade 2 to grade 9. The youngest daughter Nguyen Hoang Bao Ngoc has achieved the title of excellent student.
According to them, the most important thing is not scores or achievements, but the children forming self-awareness, knowing how to love their families and live responsibly.
Despite being busy with work, Mr. Khanh and his wife still spend time closely monitoring their children's studies and life skills training; guiding their children to care for grandparents, be polite to adults and actively participate in collective activities.
Not only building their own home, their family also actively participates in activities at their place of residence, maintaining good relationships with neighbors, contributing to building a civilized residential area.
In modern life, when many people are struggling to find a balance between work and family, the story of Mr. Nguyen Ho Khanh's family brings a simple message.
That is behind dedicated trade union officials, behind workers who always strive to contribute are homes nurtured with love and sharing.
Becoming one of the 95 typical families of workers, civil servants, and laborers just honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is not only a recognition for the efforts of Mr. Khanh's family, but also a spread of the beautiful values of the new generation of workers' families - where responsibility and love always go hand in hand.
