According to the Phu Tho Employment Service Center (Phu Tho Department of Home Affairs), in the first quarter of 2026, the unit received and resolved 2,787 applications for unemployment insurance benefits, equivalent to 2,842 people receiving benefits.
In the same period, the whole province had 24,403 people consulted and introduced to jobs; 236 people temporarily suspended and 354 people terminated unemployment insurance benefits.
The total amount of unemployment benefits for workers reached more than 77 billion VND; vocational training support money was over 172 million VND. These results contribute to stabilizing the lives of workers and ensuring social security in the area.

Mr. Do Hong Truong - Deputy Director of Phu Tho Employment Service Center said that the implementation of resolving unemployment insurance dossiers on the online environment is expected to create convenience for people, while improving the efficiency of state management. However, the implementation process still raises many difficulties and obstacles.
The main reason is that the level of online public service participation of people is still low. Besides, many workers still have a mentality of wanting to submit dossiers directly to be specifically guided, avoiding errors.
In addition, the skills of using information technology of a part of workers, especially ethnic minorities in remote and isolated areas, are still limited, causing difficulties in the online application process.
The technical infrastructure and software of the National Public Service Portal sometimes generate errors such as not finding records, suspended records, the system not receiving result files, digital signature errors or returning incorrect formatted results. These inadequacies directly affect the effectiveness of online public service deployment.
Faced with the above difficulties, Phu Tho Department of Home Affairs has proactively reviewed and summarized difficulties from practice to propose to competent authorities for consideration and handling.
In the coming time, the province will continue to coordinate with central ministries and sectors to complete technical infrastructure, aiming to deploy full online public services.
At the same time, it is proposed that the Ministry of Home Affairs complete the configuration, fully integrate unemployment insurance procedures into the system; accelerate the progress of connecting the Provincial Administrative Procedure Information System with the National Public Service Portal, gradually synchronize data and improve inter-connection efficiency.
