At the end of March 2026, Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 87/KH-UBND on developing social insurance participants in Phu Tho province in the period 2026 - 2030.
The target for 2026 for Phu Tho province is 790. 384 people participating in social insurance, of which 633. 987 people participate in compulsory social insurance; 156. 397 people participate in voluntary social insurance.
In the period from 2027-2030, the Department of Home Affairs will preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Social Insurance and relevant agencies, advising the Provincial People's Committee to assign targets for developing social insurance participants to the People's Committees of communes and wards to ensure the completion of the targets assigned by the Government, striving to reach 1,047,633 people participating in social insurance by 2030.
To achieve the above targets, the Provincial People's Committee has set out many tasks and solutions, in which the top solution is to strengthen leadership and direction, proactively and actively organize the dissemination and dissemination of the 2024 Social Insurance Law, Resolution No. 403/NQ-CP and guiding documents for the implementation of the Social Insurance Law.
Social insurance strengthens propaganda on policies and regimes of compulsory social insurance and voluntary social insurance; builds and improves the quality of activities of the team of social insurance propagandists in each locality, agency, and unit.
Phu Tho will strengthen inspection and coordination between sectors to strictly handle labor-using units that violate labor laws and social insurance in the province and take measures to prevent acts of abusing and profiteering from the social insurance fund.
Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee assigned provincial social insurance to be the agency directly implementing the plan, playing a proactive role in close coordination with departments, agencies, branches, and localities to ensure the completion of targets assigned annually and assigned until 2030.
The Department of Finance is the focal agency, coordinating with the Department of Home Affairs and Provincial Social Insurance to advise the Provincial People's Committee on resources to support additional social insurance contributions for voluntary social insurance participants. Other departments and sectors such as the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Provincial Police contribute to the social insurance agency in implementing the common goal.
