Thanks to that, in the first quarter of 2026, the rate of trained workers in the province is estimated to reach 87.6%, of which the number of trained workers increased by 1,672 people, equal to 100.7% of the quarterly plan; creating 6,150 jobs, equal to 102.5% of the quarterly plan.

Concluding the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee - requested relevant departments and agencies to urgently study and build the Provincial Center for Forecasting and Managing Human Resources; organize surveys and develop plans for vocational skills, foreign languages and necessary skills for workers.
At the same time, promote the construction of information channels connecting jobs between people and businesses; strengthen propaganda, raise awareness about jobs, especially for ethnic minorities; advise on effective career guidance and vocational orientation solutions, associated with building a student database.
Emphasizing the goal of creating about 30,500 new jobs in 2026 and 45,000 jobs by 2030, Ms. Hanh requested departments and sectors to soon advise on promulgating breakthrough mechanisms and policies to attract human resources, focusing on essential areas such as health, education, housing, and transportation.
Departments and sectors should study and develop a resolution to replace Resolution No. 35/2021/NQ-HĐND on policies to attract and train high-quality human resources at Ha Long University, Vietnam-Korea Quang Ninh College, Quang Ninh Medical College in the period 2021-2025, which has expired; propose a plan to merge Ha Long University with Quang Ninh University of Industry; develop policies to support tuition fees for industries and fields that the province is in need of...
