On April 29, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee organized a launching ceremony for the "Mess of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026" with the theme: "Innovation, improving productivity and ensuring occupational safety and health in the digital age".
In recent years, Quang Tri has synchronously implemented many solutions to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors, businesses and workers. Working conditions have gradually improved. The work of preventing work accidents and occupational diseases is focused on. Workers' lives are increasingly concerned.
Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month 2026" takes place from May 1st to May 31st. This is a peak period to promote solutions to ensure occupational safety and health, prevent work accidents and occupational diseases. At the same time, care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
At the launching ceremony, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee proposed to promote legal propaganda; apply technology, digital transformation in disseminating knowledge of occupational safety and health. At the same time, review safety working procedures; early risk control; improve training, especially high-risk occupations; strengthen inspection and handling of violations.
On this occasion, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee presented gifts to 20 workers, civil servants, and laborers who suffered labor accidents and are in difficult circumstances. The Provincial Labor Federation supported funding for the construction of 7 "Trade Union Shelter" houses. At the same time, certificates of merit were awarded to 15 enterprises that performed well in occupational safety and health.
