On September 18 and 19, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to organize a communication program, art exchange, and seminar on drug prevention and control for workers in industrial parks, and at the same time launched the Campaign "Vietnamese workers say no to drugs - Million hearts, a determination".
The program is expected to have the participation of about 3,100 delegates, including nearly 3,000 union members and workers working in industrial parks and export processing zones in Hai Phong city.
On the evening of September 18, a special art program and the Launching Ceremony of the Campaign will open with a light, 3D image and music performance with the theme "Together Beating". The performances "Love Vietnamese Smiles", "My Hometown Port", "Shining Together" and "Joining Hands" are staged with the participation of artists, dance troupes, police forces and outstanding workers.
After the main ceremony, the stage continued to move to a youthful musical atmosphere with performances by artists loved by a large audience. Quoc Thien, Vo Ha Tram, Hoang Yen Chibi and Pham Anh Khoa will successively bring familiar songs, newly remixed in a vibrant direction, creating an art night dedicated to workers in Hai Phong.
On the morning of September 19, the "Vietnamese Workers Resolutely Say No to Drugs" Day continues to expand the interactive space. Workers will directly exchange and hold seminars with representatives of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ministry of Public Security, Hai Phong City Police, businesses and experts on drug risks, prevention skills, and support for people after detoxification to reintegrate into the community.
The organizers arranged 50 booths in the "Trade Union Welfare - Accompanying Workers" Space, including a "0 VND" booth, a preferential booth, a booth of accompanying businesses and a consulting area for essential services. The Hai Phong City Labor Federation issued 10,000 vouchers worth 150,000 VND/voucher to workers in difficult circumstances to visit and shop at the booths. Workers are both exposed to drug prevention and control knowledge and cared for their material and spiritual lives.
