Civil servants and public employees will receive a support level of 5 million VND/month when working full-time in information technology from August 15, 2025
The Government issued Decree 179/2025/ND-CP regulating the level of support for people working full-time on digital transformation, network information security, and network security, effective from August 15, 2025.
According to Article 3 of Decree 179/2025/ND-CP, the support level is regulated as follows:
People working full-time on digital transformation, network information security, and network security as prescribed in Article 1 of Decree 179/2025/ND-CP in agencies of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (including socio-political organizations) from the central to the commune level and the armed forces (military, police, and cryptography) will receive a support level of 5 million VND/month.
The above support level will be applied until salary policy reform is implemented according to the policy of the competent authority.
Based on determining the structure of civil servants according to professional titles and norms for the number of employees
According to Article 3 of Circular 15/2025/TT-NHNN (effective from August 14, 2025), the basis for determining the structure of civil servants according to professional titles and norms for the number of employees in public service units in the banking sector is stipulated.
Standards for appointing forensic examiners
Article 3 of Circular 21/2025/TT-BYT stipulates the standards for appointing forensic examiners as follows:
- Regarding professional qualifications
Have a university degree or higher in one of the training majors specified in Circular 09/2022/TT-BGDDT dated June 6, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training stipulating the List of training majors of higher education, in the following areas:
+ For those who conduct forensic assessments: have a university degree in medicine (code 772011);
+ For those who conduct toxicology assessments: have a university degree in chemical training (code 7440112) or one of the majors in the pharmaceutical training group (code 77202);
+ For those who conduct biomedical assessments: have a university degree in one of the subjects in the group of biomedical training (code 74201) and applied biology (code 74202).
- Regarding appraisal profession
Having a forensic assessment certificate issued by competent authorities as prescribed in Circular 06/2019/TT-BYT dated March 28, 2019 of the Minister of Health regulating agencies, implementation organizations, training content and time to issue a certificate of training in forensic and forensic psychiatric assessment or meeting the criteria prescribed in Article 10 of Circular No. 06/2019/TT-BYT.
- Regarding the actual time of professional activities
The total actual professional activity in the training field in accordance with regulations must be at least 5 years and the interruption period (if any) must not exceed 2 years from the time of application for appointment as assessors. In case of directly assisting in forensic examination activities at agencies and organizations that conduct forensic examination in the health sector, police, and military, the professional practice period in the field of training must be 3 consecutive years or more.
