Responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, while promoting the fine tradition of "mutual love" of the nation, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) held a launching ceremony for a donation program to support people in localities affected by storms, floods, natural disasters and to help the Cuban people.
In recent times, due to the consecutive impacts of storms No. 10, No. 11 and the storm's circulation, many provinces and cities in the Central region and the northern mountainous region have suffered heavy damage. Natural disasters not only caused landslides and flooding on a large scale, but also damaged hundreds of houses, isolated many residential areas, and destroyed infrastructure, seriously affecting people's lives and livelihoods.
In that urgent situation, the General Director of EVNNPT and the Standing Committee of the Corporation's Trade Union have called on all cadres, employees, and laborers in the entire system to actively participate in support, each contributing at least one day's salary to support people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
With a workforce of nearly 7,000 employees who always uphold discipline, dedication and responsibility, EVNNPT not only completes the task of safe, continuous and stable power transmission well, but also actively accompanies community activities.
The leaders of EVNNPT Corporation and the EVNNPT Trade Union expressed their confidence that, with the spirit of solidarity and compassion, the EVNNPT collective will continue to promote tradition, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete the 2025 plan, while actively contributing to the socio-economic development of the country, associated with the goal of community and social security.
