The project to renovate and upgrade Phu Tho town stadium was approved by the People's Committee of Phu Tho town (old) with a total investment of more than 44 billion VND, constructed in the old Hung Vuong ward (now Phu Tho ward).
At the end of December 2024, after the Package: Construction of equipment installation and construction (including environmental protection costs) of the project completed the selection of contractors, the project was started.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in mid-October, after more than 9 months of construction, the Phu Tho Town Stadium project has been basically completed.
It can be seen that the main items such as: roofed stands; athletes' dormitories; stands, soccer fields and pitch road system, internal roads; gates, fences and many other technical infrastructure have been basically completed.
Seeing the whole scene, the stadium behind, painted and planted with grass, has a completely different appearance, clean, fresh and modern.
According to the report of the Phu Tho Ward Project Management Board, to date, the implementation progress has reached over 90% of the contract value, equivalent to more than 34 billion VND.
With the covered stand, the first floor was built with an area of 361.5m2, including a 50m2 storage room and a 4.1m2 technical room; the second floor has an area of 250m2, with a main gate, a reception hall and an 85m2 corridor with 2 technical rooms and a warehouse of 38m2; the third floor has an area of 180m2, divided into 2 sides of the stand with seats, including 156 seats...
With the Athletes' accommodation category, the first floor was built with an area of 410m2, including 2 changing rooms, shower rooms with an area of 110m2 serving athletes; 11m2 lounge; warehouse and toilet area of 10m2; the toilet area includes men's and women's toilets and toilets for the disabled with an area of 60m2; the hall and hallway are 63m2.
Along with that, the second floor has an area of 410m2, built a technical and sound room of 32m2; a 32m2 management room, a 50m2 hall and corridor; an 235m2 outdoor grandstand with 394 seats; 2 stairs up to the grandstand...
For the stands, the seating steps have been renovated and adjusted to meet standards. The soccer field has been renovated and expanded to a standard size of 65x100m, the entire old field surface has been peeled off to rebuild the drainage system around the field, natural grass on the field surface...
According to the Phu Tho Ward Project Management Board, there are only fences and pitch roads left, which are 2 items under construction (under construction). It is expected that by the end of October 2025, the Phu Tho Town Stadium Renovation and Upgrade Project will be officially inaugurated, about 2 months earlier than the initial schedule at the end of December 2025.
