Launching 5 grassroots trade unions in Bai Chay ward, Quang Ninh

Quang Ninh - May 19, Bai Chay Ward Trade Union organized a conference to launch 5 grassroots trade unions and commend typical advanced workers, civil servants, and laborers.

The conference was attended by leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Labor Federation.

At the conference, 5 new grassroots trade unions were launched, including: Luna Ha Long Group Joint Stock Company Trade Union; Intercontinental Ha Long Resort Trade Union; Trade Union of the Center for Nursing People with Meritorious Services and Provincial Officials; Trade Union of FTE Ha Long Tourism Trading Joint Stock Company; Trade Union of Bai Chay Ward Service Supply Center.

Currently, Bai Chay Ward Trade Union manages 135 grassroots trade unions with about 8,250 union members. Over the past time, the ward trade union has proactively coordinated with Party committees, authorities and related sectors to grasp the operating situation of enterprises, and effectively perform the role of a bridge between workers and enterprises.

Also at the program, the Trade Union of Bai Chay Ward launched a response to Workers' Month, Action Month for Occupational Safety and Health in 2026; commended and awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee to individuals with achievements in the emulation movement "Exemplary Advanced Workers, Civil Servants, Laborers" in 2025.
