Opening the program, MC Phuong Uyen asked the question: when love fades, will those involved have enough courage to let go to find peace for themselves? From there, two real stories sent back to the program have opened up many debates.
The first story revolves around a woman who got married because of an unwanted pregnancy after a short period of acquaintance. Although initially family life seemed stable, she gradually discovered that her husband showed signs of adultery. Faced with suspicions and specific evidence, she fell into a state of confusion when her young child was not yet one year old.
Listening to the story, singer My Le believes that this situation is not uncommon in modern society, when many relationships begin to lack emotional foundation. According to her, maintaining a marriage when love is no longer there easily exhausts those involved. "Sometimes letting go is a way to protect yourself and your children. The important thing is that women need to prepare psychologically, financially and housing to be able to live independently," the female singer shared.
Dr. To Nhi A said that relationships formed just because of responsibility often lack long-term cohesion. According to her, when love is not present, trying to hold on can make both of you more hurt. She advises women to look at reality, consider their own and their children's rights to make appropriate decisions.
The second story reflects a marriage that falls into crisis because the husband is addicted to gambling, in debt and brings another woman home. The wife is under personal papers control, has difficulty in divorce but still tries to endure it because she loves her children.
Faced with this situation, Dr. To Nhi A said that continuing to live in an unsafe and disrespectful environment not only hurts the wife but also affects the development of young children. She emphasized that women need to prioritize protecting themselves and seeking legal support when necessary.
Agreeing, singer My Le affirmed that women should not accept a toxic relationship. According to her, bravery and decisiveness help mothers create a healthy living environment for their children, instead of clinging to a marriage that no longer has spiritual value.
