On September 16, Nhi Quy Ward Trade Union organized the launching ceremony of the "Digital Trade Union - Legal Consulting with Workers" model. This is an online channel for union members, workers, and laborers (CN, NLĐ) to send feedback, recommendations and receive support on issues related to their rights.
The model is a specific step to concretize Plan No. 20/KH-LDLD of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and digital transformation in Trade Union activities. Accordingly, union members, workers, and laborers can use smartphones to scan QR codes to send questions, reflections or recommendations to the Nhi Quy Ward Trade Union.
The consulting content focuses on practical issues such as labor contracts, wages, working hours, social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance and related regimes and policies.
With the motto "Easy access - Quick consultation - Legal - Close to rights", the model aims to shorten the distance between workers and the Trade Union organization, helping issues arising in labor relations to be received and supported more promptly. To ensure that the reception and handling of feedback is not limited to form, the Nhi Quy Ward Trade Union has established the Trade Union Digital Technology Team consisting of 7 members.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Hoai Thanh - Member of the Ward Trade Union Executive Committee, Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Eco Tank Garment Co., Ltd. - is the Team Leader. The Team is responsible for managing QR codes, receiving and classifying information, advising on consulting content; and at the same time coordinating to transfer content beyond authority to functional agencies for handling. The Ward Trade Union sets a target for 100% of directly affiliated CĐCS to propagate and list QR codes in convenient locations such as bulletin boards, working areas, and dining rooms. Thereby, striving for at least 80% of union members, workers, and laborers to access and understand the purpose and method of using the model. Notably, 100% of reflections and recommendations sent via online forms will be received, classified, and the processing process will be monitored, in order to limit information omission by laborers.
According to Mr. Dang Huu Phuc - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nhi Quy Ward - promoting the application of information technology will help the Trade Union organization grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, workers, and laborers faster, thereby improving the effectiveness of representing, caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of workers.
The "Digital Trade Union - Legal Consulting with Workers" model is expected to become a practical online connection channel, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at businesses in the area.
