On September 15, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap - said that the program "Full Moon Night - Loving Mid-Autumn Festival" will be held at 3 locations during the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival. Specifically, the program takes place on the evening of September 19 at the campus of HIDICO Company (Sa Dec ward); evening of September 22 at Tan Phuoc 3 Commune Cultural House and on September 23 at Tan Huong Commune Cultural House.
At each point, the Trade Union plans to present 300 gifts to children of union members, workers, and laborers of grassroots trade unions in industrial parks, aged 5-14 years old. Thus, a total of 900 gifts will be presented on this occasion.
Priority is given to children of union members, workers who have had labor accidents, occupational diseases, critical illnesses, encountered risks in life or are in particularly difficult circumstances. Families with low incomes but striving to overcome difficulties, and children studying well are also cared for. Each "Mid-Autumn Gift Bag" includes Mid-Autumn cakes, lanterns, milk, candies and gifts suitable for children.
In addition to giving gifts, the program includes cultural activities, Lion - Lion - Dragon dances, Uncle Cuoi - Sister Hang exchange, telling Mid-Autumn Festival stories, quizzes with prizes and activities for children.
According to the Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap, the program aims to care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers' children, especially families in difficult circumstances; and at the same time create a healthy and useful playground for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival. The organization of the program also contributes to showing the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in caring for, protecting and accompanying children, with the requirement "Happy, practical, safe, economical".
