The union was established with 12 union members who are electric vehicle owners doing business in tourism transport services on Quan Lan island, Van Don special zone, Quang Ninh province.
The Executive Committee of the 1st term of Dai Phong Electric Vehicle Union, term 2026–2030, includes 3 members.
This is the first specialized grassroots trade union model in Quan Lan, and also the first electric vehicle union of Quang Ninh province.
The trade union operates according to the motto of providing civilized, environmentally friendly, zero-emission transportation services, ensuring safety for tourists.
This model is associated with the Project "Green Island - Clean Island - Developed Island" of Van Don special zone.
Through the activities of the trade union, union members are propagated and guided to implement regulations on environmental protection, landscape preservation, and civilized behavior in tourism activities.
As of April 20, 2026, Van Don special zone has established 6 more grassroots trade unions, bringing the total number to 90 grassroots trade unions.
