98% of workers return to work
At HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HVS), 100% of workers were present on the first working day of the year.
Mr. Le Van Toan - Deputy General Director of HVS said that during Tet, there are about 500 workers working throughout Tet to ensure production progress.
5,500 workers of the company and subcontractors are ready to go to their normal working positions, production activities are started right from the first day of the year," Mr. Toan informed.

2026 marks 30 years of establishment, HVS sets a target of signing 17 ships. Among them, there are 5 ships of 150,000 DWT type; striving to achieve revenue of 700 million USD, continuing to affirm its position in the international market.
At Suoi Dau Industrial Park (Cam Lam commune), 100% of businesses entered the first working day with full staff. Notably, a swimwear garment company with more than 1,600 workers recorded the first year all workers went to work fully immediately after Tet.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, a worker in the printing department of Thong Nhat Swimwear Garment Co., Ltd. shared that after the Tet holiday, he returned to work early with the desire for a favorable new year, stable work and higher income.
According to business leaders, in 2025, the company improved salary and bonus regimes; 1,490 workers were given Tet gifts worth 400,000 VND/person by the trade union; 638 workers affected by floods were supported with an additional 1 million VND/case; Tet bonus reached 75% of salary.
On the first working day of the year, employees also receive lucky money and participate in lucky draws. In 2026, the enterprise plans to recruit about 300 more workers to serve the plan to expand factories.
Accelerate market expansion
From the 2nd day of Tet, Khanh Hoa Bird's Nest One Member Limited Liability Company organizes the first launching ceremony of the year for the swiftlet island protection force. 150 officers and soldiers are ready to receive the task, protecting the safety of the island system and the sea area assigned to management.


Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Van - Chairwoman of the Member Council - emphasized that 2026 will have many intertwined opportunities and challenges, businesses set a revenue growth target of 12%. At the same time, implement the digital transformation roadmap for the period 2025–2028, focusing on operational management, data transparency and improving income for employees.
At Khanh Viet Corporation, provincial leaders visited and wished Tet to employees on the first working day of the year.
According to Mr. Pham Hoai Trung - Head of the Member Council, in 2025, the corporation achieved consolidated revenue of 9,560 billion VND, consolidated pre-tax profit is estimated at 310 billion VND; total budget contribution of 3 main taxes is estimated at 3,645 billion VND, in Khanh Hoa alone reaching 3,530 billion VND; export turnover reached 67 million USD.
In 2026, the enterprise determines to continue to maintain growth, striving to increase export turnover by 5%; promote digital transformation, integrate technology into production; build a business strategy for the period 2026–2030; and at the same time implement a project to arrange, restructure and equitize according to the policy.

According to Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, the whole province has 106 businesses that are not on Tet holiday, mainly in the fields of tourism services, accommodation and some manufacturing industries.
Businesses have proactively developed production plans, arranged workers to work in shifts; fully implemented salary regimes, overtime and working regimes on holidays and Tet according to regulations.
It is forecasted that after Tet, the labor situation will be basically stable, without major shortages or cuts. Many businesses are implementing support policies, improving welfare, applying science and technology to production, ensuring labor safety and retaining workers.
