Vietsovpetro Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Trade Union (abbreviated as VSP, headquarters in Vung Tau ward, Ho Chi Minh City) informed that in the period 2020-2025, many initiatives, inventions, and useful solutions from the practical labor production of union members and workers have benefited the unit more than 49 million USD (more than 1,200 billion VND).
For example, maintaining the submarine cable system of VSP (playing a vital role in transmitting electricity from power stations to satellite rigs) faces many challenges, when cable connection boxes often have to be purchased from abroad, and the ordering time is long... Therefore, the research group of Electrical Engineering Enterprise (VSP) has researched and successfully implemented the solution: "Designing and manufacturing submarine cable connection boxes, replacing submarine cable connection boxes purchased from the company, for many types of submarine cables, many voltage levels and working voltage up to 35kV". Compared to imported products, the equipment manufactured by VSP has solved difficult technical problems, enhanced water resistance, increased durability and reduced construction time by up to 6 hours per connection.
The above solution has brought impressive economic efficiency, estimated to profit more than 86,855 USD in the past 5 years. Many other initiatives and works have also been highly appreciated and won prestigious awards.
