Mr. Do The Huy - Head Chef of Hoa Binh Restaurant (Hoa Binh - An Giang Hotel and Restaurant Trading Company Limited) is known as the creator of dozens of specialty dishes made from mountain fruits and vegetables of the Bay Nui region.

Like many people in An Giang, Mr. Huy was soon attracted to this land filled with legends. Therefore, when he entered the culinary profession, in addition to focusing on innovating and creating dishes according to the criteria of "Delicious, beautiful, nutritious", he also spent a lot of time researching fruits and vegetables associated with the name of An Giang mountains and forests, such as palm fruit, Nui Cam mulberry, sweet potato... into specialty dishes.

With a well-trained knowledge base, Mr. Huy has successively researched and awakened the potential of each type of mountain fruit and vegetable, to apply it to processing into specialty dishes. This not only brings the connoisseurs a beautiful and delicious taste, but also conveys the depth of local culture. Thereby, it has helped the company create a brand, attract many customers, and brought Huy many high titles in professional chef competitions.

Mr. Tran Hoang Trong, the restaurant's assistant chef, shared that at work, Mr. Huy does not "hide secrets" for himself but is willing to take notes on the food quantity chart for everyone.

Ms. Le Thi Hong Hoa - Deputy Director in charge of Hoa Binh - An Giang Hotel Restaurant Trading Company Limited, said: "With creativity and passion, Chef Do The Huy has contributed to the efficiency of the kitchen, which is the basis for enhancing the brand of the unit. Mr. Huy is also a party member who has completed his assigned tasks well for many years, and has received many prestigious awards and certificates of merit".

With that achievement, Mr. Huy was honored to represent An Giang province to attend the Conference to honor 95 exemplary workers who are members of the Communist Party of Vietnam, organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in Hanoi on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding.
