The event was held to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025), and at the same time welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2025 - 2030.
This year's festival brings together 278 athletes who are officials, union members, and workers from grassroots unions under the 14th Trade Union Cluster, including: Trade Unions of Provincial Party Agencies, Provincial People's Committee Trade Unions, Health Sector Trade Unions, and grassroots unions under the Provincial Labor Federation.
The opening and closing ceremony of Cluster No. 14 was organized by the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor; the activities were implemented by the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union as the cluster leader.
Athletes compete in 4 sports: Pickleball, badminton, table tennis and tug of war.
The festival has created a healthy playground, connecting union members, encouraging emulation movements, improving health training, and improving the cultural and spiritual life of the labor force in the whole province.
This is also an opportunity for units to exchange, learn, and affirm the role of trade unions in caring for and accompanying workers.
Right after the opening ceremony, the athletes gave the audience exciting matches, with many good, beautiful, attractive and dramatic plays, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer.
At the end of the Festival, the Organizing Committee awarded many gold, silver and bronze medals in the competition events of the sports.
