Responding to Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025, the Kien Giang Provincial Youth Union has just coordinated with Thai Binh Kien Giang Joint Stock Company to organize the Workers' Youth Festival in 2025.
The festival has many programs and activities such as: "Workers' Youth Beauty Contest", "Workers' Youth Singing Voice"; men's and women's badminton tournament, folk games with prizes, a reception of 1,000 free vegetarian meals for workers, giving 100 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to workers in difficult circumstances working at Thai Binh Kien Giang Joint Stock Company.
Ms. Thi Phuong Hong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Kien Giang province, said that after nearly 40 years of renovation along with the development of the country, youth union members and workers in Kien Giang have had important changes, increasing in quantity, diversifying in structure, professional qualifications, and vocational skills, gradually improving and promoting their role in the period of industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
The youth festival this time is to create a lively playground after stressful working time for youth union members, promote the spirit of shock and creativity of young people in labor, production and business. Thereby, there are suggestions for innovation initiatives, application of science and technology, saving raw and fuel; undertaking the works and science and technology of youth, contributing to the good performance of local and unit tasks.
Ms. Thi Phuong Hong also emphasized that the Kien Giang Provincial Youth Union is committed to always accompanying young workers, continuing to innovate the content and methods of activities, aiming to build an increasingly strong Youth Union - Association organization in industrial parks, factories and enterprises, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of young workers.
